How to make an americano

With The Bambino® Plus espresso machine, you can enjoy café-quality coffee from the comfort of your home. Follow along as Leo Schmidt, a professional barista, demonstrates how to make an Americano, a classic coffee which mixes hot water with freshly brewed espresso. 
The first step to making an Americano is to fill your cup to the desired level with water heated to 200 degrees F. Next, grind your coffee beans and dose your portafilter. 
Next, tamp the coffee and trim the dose. Then insert the portafilter into the group head, with the cup of hot water underneath it. 
Next, press the '2-Cup' button to commence a flow of espresso on top of the hot water. You now have an Americano!
